Observation
Increased vibration amplitudes at 1X, 2X, and 3X RPM were detected at the gearbox input, indicating possible coupling wear or looseness. The increase was observed in two data points. Further inspection confirmed the coupling needed replacement.
Recommendation
The CME recommended replacing the coupling at the next available downtime and checking the alignment to prevent further wear or misalignment issues.
Resolution
The coupling was replaced and the equipment was restarted that night.
