Economic Life

Maintenance definition:

Economic Life refers to the period during which an asset remains cost-effective to operate and maintain. It is the timeframe over which the asset’s operational and maintenance costs are justified by its performance and output. Beyond this period, the costs of keeping the asset in service typically outweigh the benefits, making replacement or significant upgrades more economical.
